Data Multiplexer The No. 761 Multiplexer is the computer gage interface for all Starrett as well as most other major electronic tools and measuring equipment. It is designed to work with IBM-PC or compatible computers and can be interfaced with many of today's SPC, spreadsheet and data collection software. Instant 'plug and work' interface to Starrett No. 739 SPC Plus II software and No. 728-3 Shop Floor Pro™ Software. Comes standard with Starrett Link 72 Works with other major software packages with its standard RS232C output Supplied with 4 Starrett Tool Modules. Will accept other brands of tools using their standard cables with modules available from Starrett. Serial Impact Printer Reliable, basic dot matrix micro printer is for inputting measurements only and prints out on standard adding machine paper rolls. Printer is compact, 7 1/2" x 4" (188 x 100 mm) and lightweight, but ruggedly made. The unit runs on both line power and also has a built-in rechargeable battery. It is supplied with a 7.5v DC external source, a matching 110v AC/DC adapter/charger and a 2 1/4" (57 mm) wide roll of paper. Printer supports a 4800 baud rate, 7 data bits, no parity and two stop bits and has a standard RS232 D-23 pin port. Computer
Interface Adapter This computer interface adapter can interface up to two Starrett electronic measuring tools* to computers and peripherals that use RS232C input. It is a convenient, cost-effective solution for users who have more than one Starrett tool, but do not require a four-port No. 761 Multiplexer. Dip switch settings on the rear of the unit (continuous send, port sequencing, simultaneously send, foot switch, display units in/mm) offer a variety of options for sending data to a PC or peripheral Measurements can be sent to devices by triggering the button on the cable (PT22938), pressing the send button, or by using an optional foot switch (PT99468) LEDs on each port indicate if a reading has been sent to the PC or peripheral device. A power supply (PT60636) is included to utilize this feature.
